Artemis - Dyed Curly Maple, Epoxy Hybrid Handle

This knife stands apart from my other Artemis knives. The blade is engraved with a striking burnt-out tree and finished with a “smokey” coffee-etch. The handle is curly maple selectively dyed black to give the look of scorched wood. The epoxy is a rich orange, the color of hot coals, meant to give the impression that the handle still smolders. I have had this knife build in the back of my mind for quite a while and I spent a lot of time experimenting with new techniques to achieve the finished look. I’m excited to offer it up.

Hand-made from 1095 steel. Proprietary stone-washed finish. Slight “coke bottle” handle shape. Universal leather sheath included.
